Status on 3.6 and 4.X port?

Hi everyone, I just joined the mailing list. It seems awful quiet about
this project, is there any place where I can follow updates, or is the
problem that there just aren't many? Is a port of Lucene 3.6 and 4 still
planned, and if so, what's the status?

Yes, and we probably will start actual porting work soon
