   We are experiencing the same issue.  We are using echarts on Microsoft Surface Hub / Edge with the goal of having an interactive display in our lab.  We tried the method described by @carl-221b with uncertainty of any major downsides - but in our case,  forcing `zRenderEnv.touchEventsSupported = true;` did not work for us.  We are not sure how to further trouble shoot, or what to try next... hoping there is a solution we can implement.
