can't find ressources

Hi, 
in my servlet Java i do :
 ServletContext servletContext = getServletContext();
 String pathXml = servletContext.getRealPath("file.xxx");

the result is pathXml = /usr/nameUsers/public_hmtl/file.xxx

The WebServeur can't acces by this way.

How can i do to access to my hostname/~nameUsers from the ROOT of 
webServeur?
