Rick Kellogg updated STORM-878:
-------------------------------
    Component/s: storm-core

> Dist Cache: UI Displays current version of blobs on supervisor
> --------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: STORM-878
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STORM-878
> Project: Apache Storm
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: storm-core
> Reporter: Robert Joseph Evans
>
> It would really be nice to have a way to track the version of a dist cache item that is currently on a node. That way they know if it has been updated or not for debugging purposes. I'm not sure how much work this really would end up being. If there are not very many dist cache items then we can possibly include it in the heartbeat. If there are lots we may need to figure out another way to get the information less frequently.
