ProTip: use [TOC] to have auto-generated table of contents.  Example:

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/infrastructure/site/trunk/content/foundation/marks/guide.mdtext

(header license blah blah)

(opening paragraph blah blah if needed)

(Having Contents above be bold makes it stand out, but not appear in the
table of contents)

# About the Apache Brand # {#introduction}

Running text for first major section.  Note that this uses #Headers for
each section, which get turned into the TOC with links.  If you want the
links to sections to be #exact, then add the ...# {#introduction} above.
 Otherwise the TOC auto-generates #about_the_apache_brand or something.

Using #Headers or ## Headers instead of **headers** also means the
document is semantically structured (a little) for screen readers, etc.
