   ### Description

It would be cool if when running the startup scripts we could check for Java version and other things needed and print out nice error messages if some env checks are needed.

   ### Motivation

It is common for someone to have something missing in their environment meaning they can not just run Druid. This would greatly help with first impressions when people are starting with Druid.
