open doc bugs
Ladies and gentlemen,
Once again we're down to 20 open doc bugs. Six of them are SSL issues. Four of them are Rewrite issues. The remainder are scattered all over the place.
Please take a look and see if there's a ticket that you can either fix, or provide missing information to help someone else fix it.
Folks who have offered assistance on the SSL documentation, this would be a great place for you to step up and offer your expertise on those tickets.
Thanks.

Oh did we finally set that up as an svn external?
Run ./build.sh all to build everything.

There's a build system located inside [branch]/manual/build. You
basically just runbuild.sh, provided you have Java and Apache Ant
installed on your system. To build docs for a translation, you just add
the translation name to the build command, f.x. "./build.sh fr" for the
French translations.
With regards,
Daniel.

Yes, definitely. It's almost kind of funny to ask, but is there a doc I
can read on how that works?

Damn you for beating me to the AB ticket ;)
I have back-ported to 2.4 and 2.2 and rebuilt html for it now.
You should probably familiarize yourself with the docs build system if
you haven't already :)
With regards,
Daniel.

We might also want to reference this in the man page.

Good point - definitely not the goal. I've tweaked that line and
committed to trunk as r1307790.

Thanks. This is awesome. I have only one comment, and it's entirely a matter of preference. I prefer that documentation not say "this is easy to understand" and statements like that. It makes people feel stupid.

I took a stab at this one

but would appreciate comments on the attached patch before committing.
Thoughts?
