Help with new git repos

Now that we have 3 git repos(nifi, nifi-site, nifi-maven-plugin), I think we could do a few things to make navigating them better.

1) Is this [1] page active anymore? Has it been replaced by a non incubator version? All if its references are to -incubator things... This is where I used to go to find links to our various repos.

2) Our primary website [2] doesn't have any links or references to the nifi-site repo, or the nifi-maven-plugin repo

3) The nifi-site repo has a nice Readme.md [3] that tells you how to make updates to the site... but since this isn't mirrored on github there's no way to view the formatted version

This left me confused when I was attempting to update the release guide last night for NIFI-851, because first I couldn't find the nifi-site repo, then I had a hard time reading the Readme.md. I think we could improve both of those things.

I don't know what the right thing to do about 1) is. For 2) I think we should have links to those repos in the quickstart guide(or somewhere else) so people know they exist. For 3) I think we should github mirror those repos. I know Joe asked about this a few days ago and I didn't say anything because I didn't see the need at the time. Now I do. I think viewing the readme alone is worth it. Plus I find github to be much betterfor navigating the repo and viewing logs.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

[1] fine with me
[2] My mistake, I was searching the page text for 'nifi-site' and 'nifi-maven' and didn't get any hits. Upon actually reading the page with my eyeballs, I see them at the top of the page. This works for me.
[3] I'll bring this up in the other thread, and if I get no negative feedback I'll email INFRA.

Thanks,

[1] is dead. It shall stay like that forever.

[2] It does. See here: https://nifi.apache.org/quickstart.html
However, I agree we can make it more clear and if you had ideas there
would love to see em.

[3] Yeah we can ask the ASF infra folks to mirror the nifi-site and
nifi-maven repos to github. Just didn't ask because seemed of minimal
value (to me). But you alone wanting to is enough for me. Please
feel free to file the INFRA request to have that done. If you
need/want help on that just let me know. Perhaps reply to that
previous email and see if anyone disagrees with that view.

Thanks
Joe
