WindowBuilder
Did anyone see this?

I've used it for about two years now (before it was free). It is nice, but to be honest we stopped using it with FormLayout and switched to using miglayout which is much easier to use without any GUI tool at all (WindowBuilder can still be helpful, but it isn't as important). I highly recommend miglayout for Swing (and maybe it also works for SWT?)

I haven't actually tried it out (and can't download it here at work).
I might give it a shot in a few days. I'm curious if it would be
useful in making the modeler a better product and easier to add
features to the modeler. Yeah, I know that would be a large
undertaking, but it might be worthwhile. It would distract me from my
other project, though.

Yeah, I've been using this (not very active though), and I think
WindowBuilder is fine, probably the best of free tools. Cool thing is
that it has builders for Swing, SWT and GWT. I'm still afraid to use
it with existing code though (only for creating new forms).
