[users@httpd] Minor Apache 2 Bug?
Glorious Day - I finished my system upgrade to 0.9.7b+Apache2+cURL
10.7.6+PHP4.3.3RC3 with almost no hitches in just over an hour!
Now, I utilize the Apache environment variable SERVER_NAME in some of my
scripts. Normally, I thought this matched up with the ServerName directive
in the <VirtualHost> , so if you had:
<VirtualHost>
ServerName test.com
ServerAlias www.test.com
</VirtualHost>
... and you went to either test.com or www.test.com, the SERVER_NAME would
remain test.com, while HTTP_HOST would match whatever address you went to
(www.test.com or test.com). This is how it seemed to be back with Apache
1.3.26, which I was using until a few minutes ago. Now it just seems to
always match - HTTP_HOST is always the same as SERVER_NAME. Is this a bug or
am I just being weird?
