Is it time for a new prerelease of pdfbox 3.0?

Hi,

the current RC1 is now 4 months old, and I tried it right after it came out. It had a bug (PDFBOX-5159) that made it impossible to use in modularized projects. That bug was immediately fixed, but no no preview version has been released so far, so that I continue working with my hand-patched build from April.

I'm just wondering if a new preview release could happen (I know you don't want to call it RC anymore) that I could update to. (I ask because with a pre-release from apache, the build script can pull it from central repo behind the corporate firewall where I have difficulties "sneaking in" a jar that doesn't come from the central repo.)

Yes, you are right a new preview release is overdue. There were some major 
issues we had to solve first.

My time is limited in the next weeks, but I already thought about cutting a 
release in about 3-4 weeks from now. WDYT?
