[jira] [Created] (HBASE-12832) Describe table from shell no longer
shows Table's attributes, only CF attributes
Enis Soztutar created HBASE-12832:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Describe table from shell no longer shows Table's attributes, only CF attributes
Key: HBASE-12832
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-12832
Project: HBase
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Enis Soztutar
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 1.0.0, 2.0.0, 1.1.0
When you describe a table with some attributes at the table level, it is not shown from shell any more:
{code}
hbase(main):010:0> create 'usertable2', 'family', {REGION_REPLICATION => 2, CONFIGURATION => {'hbase.hregion.scan.loadColumnFamiliesOnDemand' => 'true'}}
hbase(main):011:0> describe 'usertable2'
Table usertable2 is ENABLED
COLUMN FAMILIES DESCRIPTION
{NAME => 'family', DATA_BLOCK_ENCODING => 'NONE', BLOOMFILTER => 'ROW', REPLICATION_SCOPE => '0', VERSIONS => '1', COMPRESSION => 'NONE', MIN_VERSIONS => '0', TTL => 'FOREVER', KEEP_DELETED_CELLS => 'FALS
E', BLOCKSIZE => '65536', IN_MEMORY => 'false', BLOCKCACHE => 'true'}
1 row(s) in 0.0200 seconds
{code}
Master UI shows:
{code}
'usertable2', {TABLE_ATTRIBUTES => {REGION_REPLICATION => '2', CONFIGURATION => {'hbase.hregion.scan.loadColumnFamiliesOnDemand' => 'true'}}, {NAME => 'family'}
{code}
HBASE-10082 changed the formatting from shell for one line per CF. We should add the table level attributes back to the formatting.
