Monitoring whimsy server logs

Would there be any mileage in trying to parse the error log and report
any unexpected entries?

The errors would have to go to a private list (or individuals) as
there are private details in the log.
Or the message could just say that there is an error that needs
further investigation, in which case a public list (notifications?)
should be OK

Thoughts?
