[GitHub] [superset] dat-linux opened a new issue, #23364: Is 2.1.0 an official release? If so why is it tagged as 2.1.0rc2? Also, "pip install apache-superset==2.1.0" fails.

dat-linux opened a new issue, #23364:
URL: https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/23364

 Release metadata on PyPi (https://pypi.org/rss/project/apache-superset/releases.xml) shows up as "2.1.0", ie a minor release:
 ```
2.1.0
A modern, enterprise-ready business intelligence web application
 ```

 However installing either as apache-superset==2.1.0 or apache-superset==2.1.0rc2 fails:

 ```
 pip install apache-superset==2.1.0
 OK, but why is 2.1.0 the latest release ID on PyPi, but not installable?
 Yes, as you mentioned this issue should have been fixed as of 2.1.0rc3. I'll close this issue, but feel free to reopen if you still see any inconsistencies.
 Does the same thing, v 2.0.1. The problem is that pip has the latest stable version as 2.1.0, but no such release is available. There is **No matching distribution found for apache-superset==2.1.0** or **apache-superset==2.1.0rc2**
