[jira] [Commented] (CB-4675) cameraDirection option doesn't work?

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-4675?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13758492#comment-13758492 ]

Mike Sierra commented on CB-4675:
---------------------------------

OK, will add quirk. But to clarify, you're saying if you specify either value for Android, it always snaps pictures back at the user. If you don't specify the option at all, is it safe to assume the camera snaps by default from the front in the direction of view? If so, will highlight that as a workaround.

> Affects Versions: 2.9.0
> Environment: Galaxy S2 (Android 4.0.4)

> I tried calling {{Camera.getPicture()}} with {{cameraDirection=BACK or FRONT}} but only back camera was launched in both cases.
> As I saw following discussion, it seems to be difficult to implement this feature on Android.

> If you decide not to implement it, please add a quirk to the document.
