   I'm having the same issue on our build server (not sure yet which hardware that is, though it's a mac).
   
   On my macbook pro I don't have this issue, which is odd. Working specs:
   OS: High Sierra  10.13.6
   Cordova: 8.1.2
   Node: v8.12.0 (v10.15.1 also works)
   npm: 6.4.1
