Hive missing a filter predicate causing wrong results joining tables after sort by

Hi,
I'm new to this group and not sure this is the way to go but I'd like to report a possible bug.
I had opened a Jira : https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-5964
Is there anything I should be doing now to get response / help to promote the fixing of the bug?
