[jira] [Created] (MASFRES-33) Issues with node and node_modules directories created by frontend-maven-plugin included in source-release

Serge Huber created MASFRES-33:
----------------------------------

Summary: Issues with node and node_modules directories created by frontend-maven-plugin included in source-release
                 Key: MASFRES-33
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MASFRES-33
             Project: Apache Maven Resource Bundles
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Serge Huber

Hello,

I'm using the frontend-maven-plugin in my project (Apache Unomi) and during the build process it generates a node/ and node_modules/ directory during the Maven build process and then when generating the source-release assembly it includes these directories.

I've tried to move the directories to the target/ directory but this makes the build fail.

You can find the sub project here:
https://github.com/apache/unomi/tree/master/extensions/web-tracker/javascript

Should the descriptor have a "NodeJS" configuration in a similar way that it is done for the IDE files ?

Or is it allowed to customize the descriptor at a project level (an option I would prefer to avoid)

Thanks & regards,
  Serge...
