hudi-bot opened a new issue, #16666:

   If you enable the operation field using the config HoodieWriteConfig.ALLOW_OPERATION_METADATA_FIELD and you write with spark records, it will lead to data corruption (or maybe write failure, can't remember) because HoodieInternalRow does not support the field, so the indexes are incorrect when it writes the record.

   This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-8322).
   
   **Findings: still open.**
   
   No commit on `master` references HUDI-8322, so nothing has landed under this ticket's key.
   
   The description is substantive and self-describing, so this is workable as written - what is missing is an owner rather than a specification.
   
   Keeping this open.
