Wrong date/time in "svn log" output

Hi,

Since Tuesday (Nov 29th, 2005) I get the wrong date and time in the
output of "svn log". For all changes made until Nov 28th, date and time
displayed by "svn log" are ok, but all changes made later are shown with
a time shift starting at Oct 10th, 2005 for Nov 29th. The time shift is
exactly 49 days plus 8 hours backwards.

This problem doesn't seem to be dependent on the client: I checked with
the command-line client version 1.2.3 on Cygwin and with the TortoiseSVN
client based on Subversion 1.2.3. Maybe the problem is in the
Subversion library used by both clients.

Of course, it is also possible that the Subversion server stored the
wrong time stamps. Is there something I can do to check whether the
server stores the wrong time stamps or it is just displayed wrongly by
the clients?

I checked also my colleagues' PCs (about half a dozen). They have the
same problem. The problem is not related to a wrong time setting of the
PCs. The time setting on the server that holds the Subversion
repository is also ok. (I use version 1.2.3 under Cygwin on the
server).

Is this a known problem?

Ah, missed that. Thanks for clairifying. But it's done at the server in
any case:-)

It's also updated at the end of the commit. So svn:date for revisions
(committed transactions) shows roughly the timestamp of the finished
commit, not the timestamp the commit began.

Server. It's done by the versioned filesystem when a transaction is
started.

Please note that 49 days is exactly 2^32 milliseconds. So that seems to be
some kind of rollover of jiffies.

Is the svn:date set by the server or given by the client?
A reboot of the corresponding machine should help.
