Here are the tests I have run to verify package releases:

1. Apache Fortress & OpenLDAP Quickstart
- install and unit test core, realm, rest and web with OpenLDAP:

2. Apache Fortress 10 Minute Guide
- install and unit test same components with ApacheDS:

3. Fortress jmeter load tests
- Section 14 of readme:

4. Verify license compatibility and listings for the produced web archives of web and rest components.

This testing was performed on Centos7 64-bit machine using Java 8.
