Samples not working!!!!!! (RE: TODOs for the next release)
Hi Team,
I'm a little bit disappointed, after I did a quick test of our samples:

Examples not working on my machine:
- Tutorial (subsitemap not compiled)
- Search (subsitemap not compiled)
- Sources (subsitemap not compiled)
- Web Apps/Protected Area (subsitemap not compiled)
- Web Apps/Session State (hangs)
- Static Samples/Entity Resolution (ISOnum.pen not found)
- Static Samples/SVG (not valid SVG?)
- Deli Quick Start (Error)
- Deli HTML (Empty Page)
After this annoying list, I didn't test the dynamic samples anymore.
Please, if you change something in the core of cocoon try at least some
of the samples afterwards! Otherwise we end up in a mess of not working
pages and don't know what the reason for it is.
So please, help and make the samples work again!

It'd be much better to have simple text labels instead of images and achive
rollover effect with CSS.

Let's aim to *max* compatibility. Means: all browsers!! and I really
mean it!

Just my opinion. I feel it is unwise to put javascript on a front page
where one would gather an initial impression of a product or project.
The issue being this is a very likely point of failure (no matter how
simple the javascript is someone will make a browser that breaks it).
While rollover images are a cool effect, I'd suggest removing javascript
from at least the front page. This way at least the first impression
will be nice (just before their browser breaks on the second page with
javascript :-p).

Since I always keep javascript error reporting to the max, for me the
tutorial page gives me javascript errors on the rollover stuff. Also the
links on the left are not correct and the fonts are not right. Since it
doesn't seem like a tutorial to me, and the examples are basically the same
as the database ones, should we keep it?

Good news! It's not container, it's not Cocoon, it is 3rd party app. I
have WebWasher installed (to kill nasty pop-up(-under) ads) - it was
causing hangings of the IE :)
Now I always get error page on time for all these non-working samples.

Could you please specify some reproducible test cases that fail?
Seems I'm unable to reproduce the failings.
What does happen to me is that on many links in the subsitemap example I
have to click twice to get the page sometimes.
I don't know if it's my browser or Cocoon, but incomprehensible for me
nevertheless.

PS: At this time, /cocoon/sub/generror works ok for me... But lots of
other error pages result in hanging... That's strange.
PPS: Carten, try fresh checkout. All (sub)sitemaps have to compile.

All subsitemaps are compiling here. Something wrong is in between...
