[Issue 126673] New: OO crashes randomly while selecting table's rows and columns.

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126673

          Issue ID: 126673
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: OO crashes randomly while selecting table's rows and
                    columns.
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.1.2
          Hardware: Mac
                OS: Mac OS X 10.11
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Critical
          Priority: P5 (lowest)
         Component: editing
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: j.o.tepper@web.de

For more than two years writer crashes randomly in following situations:
- selecting multiple rows in a table (via mouse, keys and menu's "select all")
- selecting multiple colums in a table (via mouse, keys and menu's "select
all")
- selecting multiple rows and colums (via mouse, keys and menu's "select all")

This problem does exist since 4.0.0 or older until 4.1.2.
Problem ocurred for me since mac os 10.9 until 10.11.

Checking Problem:
Just work intensively with simple tables in writer (e.g. add some texts, delete
some rows or columns and between select multiple rows/colums).

"work intensively" does not help to reproduce.
Thanks to provide following informations:
1) a step-by-step procedure to reproduce (the simpler will be the better)
2) any test case(s) which will help us confirm the problem (like a sample
document)
3) screenshots of the problem if you think it might help

Created attachment 85194
  --> https://bz.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=85194&action=edit
Error message which is reported automatically to apple.

A bad access (buffer overflow or something else) seems to be a possible error.
See file.

No news?

Once all of this is done, please set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED and we will
attempt to reproduce the issue.

I tried hard to create a situation or file, which is able to reproduce this
problem everytime. But, as mentioned before in the ticket, the problem does
ocurr nearly randomly. i'm wondering, why almost all people at work and in many
friends using OO on a mac know the problem, but there are still no tickets,
because in an hour of waork in writer with tables i have at least four toten
crashes.
