[jira] [Commented] (YARN-7746) Fix PlacementProcessor to support app priority

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-7746?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16708216#comment-16708216 ]

Weiwei Yang commented on YARN-7746:
-----------------------------------

Hi [~manirajv06@gmail.com]

Thanks for working on this. But I have some concern this may cause inconsistency, because in scheduler code we don't order requests by app's priority. Even this is only for scheduling requests in the processor, it still seems like a different behavior. [~asuresh], [~manirajv06@gmail.com], is this a valid concern to you?

> The Threadpools used in the Processor should be modified to take a priority blocking queue that respects application priority.
