[jira] [Updated] (SQOOP-590) Switch Sqoop 2 to Apache Tomcat 6 For Better Integration With Apache Bigtop

Sean Mackrory updated SQOOP-590:
--------------------------------

    Attachment: SQOOP2-BIGTOP-TOMCAT.patch

This patch switches from Tomcat 7 to Tomcat 6 (and also adds properties to make version changes cleaner in the future). Also added the use of some environment variables that can be used to override the default Tomcat location and client libraries locations. In general, these changes will make integration with the rest of Apache Bigtop much easier and cleaner.

> Apache Bigtop uses Tomcat 6 to provide a common server for a number of other components of Hadoop. As far as I know, there is no specific need to use Tomcat 7 over Tomcat 6, so it makes more sense to use Tomcat 6 for now until more components can be upgraded to Tomcat 7.
