[jira] [Commented] (XMLSCHEMA-33) XmlSchemaTypeRestriction does not
receive XmlSchemaFacets
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLSCHEMA-33?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14050614#comment-14050614 ]
Michael Pigott commented on XMLSCHEMA-33:
-----------------------------------------
After digging into this, I realized that the facets were populated correctly, except for the base types defined in the original XML Schema. I added the facets for the built-in types, along with a unit test to verify, here: https://github.com/mikepigott/ApacheXmlSchema
What happens next?
Thanks,
Mike

> Hello,
> I'm sorry if there's another issue out for this already, and I missed it. XmlSchemaSimpleTypeRestriction never receives its facets. As far as I can tell, it's just because the functionality is missing ...
> The facets are initialized to an empty container in the constructor:
> {code}
> public XmlSchemaSimpleTypeRestriction() {
> facets = Collections.synchronizedList(new ArrayList<XmlSchemaFacet>());
> }
> {code}
> but the only method that uses them is the getter:
> {code}
> public List<XmlSchemaFacet> getFacets() {
> return this.facets;
> }
> {code}
> This is as of XmlSchema 2.1.0, which I pulled down today from Maven Central. I'm happy to dig into this in the coming week; how do I become a committer?
> Thanks,
> Mike
