[jira] [Created] (HDDS-3700) No of containers per pipeline should
be tuned as per the no of disks on datanode
Shashikant Banerjee created HDDS-3700:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: No of containers per pipeline should be tuned as per the no of disks on datanode
Key: HDDS-3700
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-3700
Project: Hadoop Distributed Data Store
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Ozone Datanode
Reporter: Shashikant Banerjee
Fix For: 0.7.0
Currently, "ozone.scm.pipeline.owner.container.count" is configured by default to 3. The default should ideally be a function of the no of disks on a datanode. A static value may lead to uneven utilisation during active IO .
