[jira] [Commented] (OOZIE-1171) HostnameFilter should handle hostname resolution failures and continue processing

Robert Kanter commented on OOZIE-1171:
--------------------------------------

Would it make sense to log a warning after we set the hostname to "???"? At least in the case where there was an exception, maybe we should log the exception?

> If the remote address is NULL or the inet resolution fails the request will never make it to the oozie server.
> We should instead set hostname to something like '???' and let the processing continue.
