How Do I Know The Name Of the The Table Created By James?
James database repositories store all data in an
administrator-supplied database. If I do not create
tables in the database, James will automatically
create the tables it needs.
How do I know the names of the tables created by
James? And what are the variables created in those
tables?
Sorry, I am really a newbie.

Hi, Danny, thanks for your reply: "James will create
this table if it is needed. Best way to examine the
table is just to let James create one and then look at
it."

in the places where you specify tables you put a table name as the second
last part of the url, haven't got an example to hand, James will create this
table if it is needed.
Best way to examine the table is just to let James create one and then look
at it.

Caroline,

Why do you need to know them? Are you trying to limit authorization to
particular tables? If so, you'll make life more difficult down the road.
James creates tables that it needs dynamically. The list of tables depends
upon how James is configured.
What is the purpose for this James installation? Why are you using the
database instead of the file system? It sounds as if you are not familar
with databases, mail servers, mail clients, etc., and yet are not doing the
simplest installation.
If we had an idea of your background and purpose, perhaps it would make
things easier.
