Re: Re: [m204] Help getting Maven to run with JDeveloper 10.x please...???

Hello,

the JDEV plugin from Trinidad has been released as 1.0.0-incubating

http://people.apache.org/repo/m2-incubating-repository/org/apache/myfaces/trinidadbuild/maven-jdev-plugin/1.0.0-incubating/

I would agree that it makes sense to bring it to maven plugins project.
Still interested ?

Greetings,
Matthias

Re: Re: [m204] Help getting Maven to run with JDeveloper 10.x please...???

Posted by Fneuch <fn...@gmail.com>.
Like I said more then once, I re-write the plugin to add a lot of
functionality. Like you could see in
here<http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MSANDBOX-3>and
here <http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ADFFACES-142>, it's been a while
since I used this plugins.

It could be pleasant that someone merge all the jdeveloper plugins at one
official place and disable all the others.

You could find the source for the plugin
here<http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/sandbox/trunk/plugins/maven-jdeveloper-plugin/>,
here<http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/myfaces/trinidad/trunk/plugins/maven-jdev-plugin/>and
even
here<http://fneuch-maven2-plugins.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/maven-jdev-plugin/>(ok,
i admit it, the last one is my version, and doesn't count in the final
release).

If you have issues with the plugins, you could post it there :
http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?sorter/field=created&sorter/order=DESCand
there :
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MSANDBOX-3.

It's not serious. I think this plugins belong in the maven sandbox (to be an
official plugin like the one for eclipse and idea) and not in "trinidad
build"...

I say it again I'm still interested to contribute to this plugin. I used it
every day for almost a year now (the original one for 4 month and my version
after that). I didnt put a lot of time in it before because it doesn't seem
there's a lot of people who need this plugin...

have you been able to integrate genInterface into maven aside from calling a
BAT files to run it?

Hi,

My team is very interested to see jdev plugin!

We are planning to use Maven2 in a very big project based on Oracle and JEE
technologies, and ofcourse, we are using Jdeveloper and the big problem is
lack of a jdev plugin.

Btw, there is also very poor Cargo support for OC4J (>= 10.1.3) (have to use
exec and OC4J specific tools..)
