John Hewson commented on PDFBOX-3436:
-------------------------------------

Unfortunately we don't support Thai, or any other complex scripts. We're thinking about coordinating with the Apache FOP project to solve this but have no solid plans.

> I'm trying to fill a PDF form with text containing Thai characters (font Arial Unicode)
> The code runs smoothly and generate the output file but the output file is not rendered correctly (look at the attached files).
> When the file is opened on Adobe Reader it seems that the field was not filled out, but once you click on it the text appears. Once you click somewhere else the field contents disappear again.
