Patch submission containing new files
I have a patch that I am going to submit on Wednesday. However, this
patch will include new files that aren't in svn. What is the best way of
including those files?

very much appreciated

cool :-) I am just mentioning the above because committers often have
their own priorities, is it because they have to make a living, family
reasons or whatever,
which is just normal as for anyone else.
The downside of this, is that patches often get forgotten resp. get outdated
and hence nobody will commit them in the end which is a waste of
resources and
can be frustrating for the one who created it.
So I just want to encourage everyone not to give up and keep pushing
from time to time ;-)
Cheers

The patches I have been able to submit thus far have not been critical
for the most part (Kupu still doesn't work out of the box, but I don't
use that one). I figure instead of complaining about the little stuff, I
should fix it and supply the patch myself. When a committer has time to
look at it, great. I just run my patched version until that happens.
Several of the patch I have supplied, have been committed so far.

thanks very much. From general experience you might have to bug a bit
that one
of the committers is taking a closer look at it.
