   @kriegaex I have rebased this PR.
   Here is the output when there is no subdir:

   all in target. Not ideal.
   
   @hboutemy What is your opinion? I still would prefer a subdir. @kriegaex, would you keep it in the build output dir directory? What is your opinion on the clutter?
