Doesn't appear to be an Apache bug, no updates in a year, closing it.

Thanks Ruediger,

We are using httpd-2.0.46-46.ent,RHEL AS 3 and kernel 2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp,
will that support httpd 2.2.x ?

As per redhat, it supports 2.0.46-70 for RHEL AS 3. or Do I need to increase
the threadstacksize. (current size : 10240 )

Sure. Just download the sources and compile it. Just keep in mind that RedHat
will give no support for your self compiled httpd. You have to take care about
this by yourself, just the way you are doing now here. Normally you would
report any problems with the httpd delivered by RedHat to RedHat.

Please RTFM for compiling 2.0 with largefile support. And 2.0.46 is ancient -
take it up with redhat if anyone there is telling you to use it.

Yes, this a problem. httpd 2.0.x does not support large files. You need to
upgrade to 2.2.x.

Thanks Nick,

What's RTFM in apache, I couldn't find docs for this.
Can you please confirm, will this resolve the following error?

Error on server - (12)Cannot allocate memory:
apr_thread_create: unable to create worker thread

Also, is it possible to have 2.2.x apache in RHEL AS 3? (as per redhat,
that supports httpd-2.0.46-70.ent)

Can you please take a look on whole report.

Thanks in advance.
