Tomcat question

I have been working on a web application for about a week now.  This
morning, I came in and all the web application was gone.  The only thing
that changed was the admin.xml file was changed on Sunday.  Is there
something turned on in Tomcat that could do this?  If so, what steps do
I need to take to stop this.

can you give more specifics? "web application was gone"? and what was changed
in admin.xml?
