[jira] [Created] (TOMEE-2905) Examples shouldn't keep org.eclipse.transformer.maven in poms

Romain Manni-Bucau created TOMEE-2905:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Examples shouldn't keep org.eclipse.transformer.maven in poms
                 Key: TOMEE-2905
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-2905
             Project: TomEE
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 8.0.4
            Reporter: Romain Manni-Bucau

It is very ackward to haveĀ org.eclipse.transformer.maven in the pom, IMHO it should be a parent plugin which does its job by duplicating modules (and fake duplicating sources in temporary folders/target) and potentially deploy the modue with the jakartaee9 classifier and a valid pom.

In current state the main (javax) artifact is polluted by this plugin when tested (which is quite bad for atomic example as it was targetted originally) and the jakarta example is not usable to browse the code so IMHO it does not serve the main purposes of the examples.
