[jira] Created: (INFRA-2462) qmail unable to resolve mail host
qmail unable to resolve mail host
---------------------------------
Key: INFRA-2462
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2462
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: Mail (qmail)
Reporter: Phil Steitz
Dimitri Pourbaix, a new ASF committer, supplied the same mail forwarding address that he uses to receive mail on commons-dev and commons-user in his account request. The forwarding seems to be configured correctly, but when I try to send mail to him using his asf address, dimpbx@apache.org, I get the following failure notification:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at minotaur.apache.org.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<po...@astro.ulb.ac.be>:
CNAME lookup failed temporarily. (#4.4.3)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.
