1.1 rc2 -- many test failures on Debian woody

This is on a Debian "testing" (aka "Sarge") system.

I downloaded the 1.1 rc2 tarball, and configured like this:

        ./configure --prefix=$HOME/local

I then did

        make all fsfscheck install check-clean

There are enough failures that I think it'd be less confusing if I
simply attached tests.log:

This can be caused by the client crashing for some reason. (I got that
very recently, but those crashes were caused by me.) You could look for
some core files under the tests directory and check where it crashed.
