[users@httpd] [notice] child pid xxxxx exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

I'm running apache 1.3.23 with mod_ssl and I'm getting the error 
in my error logs over and over:   

[notice] child pid 28354 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

I'm running about 8 IP based Virtual Hosts on this server each with their 
own certificate.

I don't know where to start to troubleshoot this, please help.
