[Bug 60463] New: Ant build.sh Installs Junk Files To Install Parent Directory

https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=60463

            Bug ID: 60463
Summary: Ant build.sh Installs Junk Files To Install Parent
                    Directory
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.9.7
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Build Process
          Assignee: notifications@ant.apache.org
          Reporter: antonio.malcolm@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

For example, when following the instructions to build and install, using
build.sh, to /usr/local, aside from installing into /usr/local/bin and
/usr/local/lib, there are a bunch of docs and XML files installed into the
/usr/local parent directory, which aren't necessary.

These, if they need to be there, at all, should probably NOT be in /usr/local-
perhaps in a subdirectory of /usr/local/share (/manual should CERTAINLY be
under /usr/local/share):

--- Comment #1 from Gintas Grigelionis <gi...@apache.org> ---
All these files should be in /usr/local/share/ant, cf FHS or freedesktop.org
recommendations... in 1.11?
