Update JDK version for tomcat

Hi,
I am running tomcat4.0.4 on windows2000, when i
installed it i had jdk1.3.1 on my machine, so tomcat
used jdk1.3.1 while installing, now i want to upgrade
to jdk1.4.1, so how can i do it??
if only i change the classpath will it work????
or i will have to reinstall tomcat after changing my
classpth???
