[jira] [Updated] (IGNITE-28969) Validate remote node feature compatibility during the TCP Discovery handshake
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-28969?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Mikhail Petrov updated IGNITE-28969:
------------------------------------
Description:
The TCP Discovery SPI should exchange the communicating nodes' feature sets during the handshake phase and validate their compatibility.
Exchanging feature sets will allow us to:
1. Prevent sending data in an unsupported format between nodes running different Ignite versions over TCP Discovery sessions.
2. Ensure that both nodes apply the same serialization rules, allowing messages to be serialized and deserialized predictably on both sides.
Summary: Validate remote node feature compatibility during the TCP Discovery handshake (was: Validate remote node features compatibility on handshake for tcp discovery)
