Re: cactus-user Digest 9 Jan 2002 16:11:23 -0000 Issue 33

I'm having a problem receiving a digest from this group. The symptom is:
the header and first message are included in the message body. The second
thru Nth messages are not. A secondary symptom is that none of the entries
in the subject index actually has any data.

This does not seem to be a problem with my mail client, altho anything is
possible. Other digests like Cocoon come thru just fine.

Here's the digest I received on 9-Jan-02. It indicates that there are 13
messages. Only the first message is actually included in the list.

Is anyone else experiencing this or am I hallucinating again? Is this list
actually available as a newsgroup somewhere?

Steve

Nitin,

The exception reflects the reality ... the cactus.properties file cannot
be loaded by the classloader because it is not available in the
classpath.

It does not seem to be a linux problem.

Just check as many times as necessary that the cactus.properties is
indeed visible in the classpath. If you're still not succeeding, then
send us your cactus start script (i.e. the way you start cactus).

Thanks
-Vincent

Hi Steve,

I've subscribed myself to the digest list to see what I would get and I
got the same email as you had with all the messages attached. The
messages are fine. The only thing that seem wrong is that there are no
subjects for the different emails, on the summary page.

It seems that there are several distinct problems :
- maybe your mail client does not handle the multi-part attachment well
?,
- there is no subject for email summary (probably a setting in the list
management - but I am not the admin ... :-))
