We are trying to do the work required to public Knox to the Apache Nexus repo.  As per the guide here http://www.apache.org/dev/publishing-maven-artifacts.html#signing-up we are filing this jira with the information below.

We are pretty sure that our pom.xml files will need additional work so let us know if there is anything obvious.  One thing to note is that I believe we need the <distributionManagement> in our root pom.xml so that some downstream consumers can modify how artifacts get published.
