Is this actually a bug? To me, if an element with the same name exists in a hidden group, and any expression references that element name, then it's ambiguous just as if the group was non-hidden. I would expect the warning here. Now, if no expression references the element then we might be able to avoid the name conflict, but that's depending on us having a DFDL Infoset realization that is able to deal with this.

Suppose a user is a JSON user, and they want to debug their parsing behavior. The augmented infoset, with hidden stuff added to it, would want to be rendered, ideally, in JSON for this user. But if we allow hidden child elements to have conflicting names with non-hidden children then there would be difficulties realizing the augmented infoset in JSON since a single element can't have multiple children with the same name in JSON. 

What is the problem with issuing the warning here about elements with the same name in a hidden group? 

Also, what if two hidden groups within the same enclosing parent both have an element with the same name? So the conflict isn't between hidden and non-hidden, but also can be between different hidden elements?
