DO NOT REPLY [Bug 49620] New: Documentation: quoting using slosh not
slash
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49620
Summary: Documentation: quoting using slosh not slash
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.3-HEAD
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: mod_rewrite
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: denis.howe@gmail.com
In
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_rewrite.html#quoting
replace "slash" with "slosh". As the examples clearly demonstrate, you escape
special characters with a slosh. Using slash would be insane.

Thanks for the hint.
Fixed using "backslash" instead of "slash" in 2.2 (r965798) and 2.0 (r965801)
docs. Does not apply to trunk.
