Nick Couchman commented on GUACAMOLE-343:
-----------------------------------------

Could make the checkbox disable recording, and have it record if there is a value in the path, and the box is *not* checked??

> The "Screen Recording" and "Typescript (Text Session Recording) option should receive a checkbox to enable/disable recording. Currently recording is enabled by configuring a recording or typescript path and name.
> Currently it is not possible to setup the recording path and name without automatically starting to record. An additional checkbox like
> [ ] Enable Recording
> would be nice. So you could then preconfigure the paths, filenames per connection, easily clone or preconfigure them. When recording is needed you just need to enable the checkbox.
