Version of BouncyCastle

Hi all,

any reason why we still use bc 1.49 instead of current 1.54?

Does the new version offer any fixes etc that affect the way we use BC?
If not, why bother updating?

Is it compatible with 1.49?
If not, updating will require code changes...

If the answer is yes to both, then by all means update to the later version.
