Serializer does not write '>' as '>'

Summary: Serializer does not write '>' as '>'
Product: Xerces2-J
Version: 2.3.0
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Serialization
AssignedTo: xerces-j-dev@xml.apache.org
ReportedBy: Kevin.S.Ruland@mail.sprint.com

The org.apache.xml.serialize.XMLSerialzier.printXMLChar() routine does not print
the '>' character as the entity reference '>'. The output from XMLSerializer
is not valid xml if any of the text fields include the '>' character.
