   Like @breautek mentioned in https://github.com/apache/cordova-ios/issues/883#issuecomment-689646840 you could give `cordova-plugin-wkwebview-file-xhr@3.0.0` a try to make AJAX requests work.
   
   If anyone has any idea how to solve the issue when loading HTML assets (image for instance via <img src="..." >) which are accessible with a valid session cookie only, please let me know. `cordova-plugin-wkwebview-file-xhr@3.0.0` only works for `XMLHTTPRequest`.
